Our patients have always been the direct recipients of the work of our dedicated volunteers and the generosity of our financial supporters. To respond to the increased demand for our services also comes exciting opportunities to serve. We continually seek ways to improve the efficiency of the Clinic, while expanding our free medical, educational and pharmaceutical services. To accomplish our goals we must continually recruit new staff and volunteers, attract new financial supporters, seek new strategic partners and enhance the Clinic’s community outreach.
Mercy Health Clinic will always be primarily volunteer organization. To maintain and expand the high quality and consistency of our care, the Clinic must increasingly rely on support from the community … government, business, and individuals. As the demand for our services grows, we must balance patient needs against our available human and financial resources. We have a finite number of volunteers and we depend on paid staff to assure consistency of care. All our volunteers and staff recognize that we are an essential part of the lives of our patients. We are obligated to continue and expand our patient outreach.
It is a privilege to serve others. Every day I am reminded of the selfless giving of our volunteers, staff, supporters and partners. They never hesitate to share their time, talents and resources with the Clinic. They are an inspiration. Anyone who visits the Clinic will witness this spirit and the difference we are making in the lives of our patients.
I invite you to consider becoming a volunteer, regardless of your expertise we can find a way for you to assist. If your schedule prevents you from volunteering, I ask you to please consider becoming a financial supporter. Whatever your decide, you will help us to make a difference in the lives of our deserving neighbors.
Thank you for your support.
