Since 2000 the Mercy Health Clinic’s almost all volunteer staff has provided 25,000 primary health care patient visits. Clinic operations have expanded to three days a week. The range of services has also grown and includes a comprehensive pharmacy program, multiple specialty clinics, and health education classes. As a result the Clinic has become recognized as an important and stable component in the network of community health clinics serving the poor and uninsured in Montgomery County.
The primary indication of the Clinic's ongoing success is the increasing number of patients being served. The chart below shows the growth of four measurements of patient activity in the past three years.
